The ASEAN Regional Workshop on Patent Search and Classification
“The ASEAN Regional Workshop on Patent Search and Classification” was opened at Hanoi Meliã Hotel in the morning of 03 August, 2010.
“The ASEAN Regional Workshop on Patent Search and Classification” was opened at Hanoi Meliã Hotel in the morning of 03 August, 2010.
The Workshop was attended by 40 participants who are patent examiners and staff of Intellectual Property Offices of ASEAN countries, namely Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand and the host – Vietnam.
During three-days Workshop from 03 to 05/8/2010, EPO’s experts gave valuable lectures on patent information work products and the various publications of patent offices; hands on use of patent information retrieval tools and building on introduction to patent information searching resources and techniques; international patent classification and searching with classifications, … The participants also took part into practices and case studies of patent search and classification on the equipped computers and shared experiences in dealing with problems faced by them on patent search and classification in their works.
The Workshop was co-organized by the National Office of Intellectual Property of Vietnam and the European Patent Office.
