New NOIP’s Branch Office opened in Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park
On November 6th 2009,the Opening Ceremony of a new Branch Office of the National Office of Intellectual Property of Vietnam (NOIP) was launched at Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park by Mr. Nguyen Van Lang,Deputy Minister of Science and Technology,Head of the Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park Management Board.
On November 6th 2009,the Opening Ceremony of a new Branch Office of the National Office of Intellectual Property of Vietnam (NOIP) was launched at Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park by Mr. Nguyen Van Lang,Deputy Minister of Science and Technology,Head of the Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park Management Board.
Presence at the Ceremony were the leaders of the Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park and officials of the NOIP led by Director General Tran Viet Hung and representatives of enterprises located at the Hi-Tech Business Incubator,representatives from the State Agency for Technology Innovation (SATI) and the INVESTIP.
The NOIP’s Branch Office was founded in accordance with the Decision No. 2053/QD-SHTT dated October 23rd 2009 by the Director General of the NOIP with main functions of providing supporting and consultation to enterprises,organizations,and individuals who are doing scientific and technological activities with priority given to hi-tech field. Besides,the Office would help promote the exploitation and application of patent information into the research and development activities.
Together with the two Branch Offices in Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh city,the Hoa Lac Office is expected to strengthen the NOIP presence in various regions of the country and assist enterprises and people in the protection,administration and enforcement of intellectual property rights.
